New Adventure

Well, everyday brings new adventures and challenges.
The girls started school yesterday!
Language lessons for Scott & I start today with Jean Claude.
Madame Lorette comes M-F to cook our noon meal.
I bought almonds, tortillas, bread, and homemade baskets (for garbage cans and laundry) all from the convenience of my front door.  The word must be getting out among the local Haitians, that there is a new family on the block.  Everyone has something to sell!

It doesn’t sound like a lot, but everything takes a lot longer here. Language is a huge barrier for us, so we are excited to start learning.  Hopefully Jean Claude is a very patient man 🙂

The last picture I am posting is the view from our back porch this morning.  It was a beautiful reminder of all of God’s promises to us.

“The eyes of the Lord run to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him”. 2 Chronicles 16:9
All of God’s promises are backed by His wisdom, love, and power!
Have a great day in the Lord!
    Love to all!
